These are only TIPS that i have found while playing Oblivion-The Elderscrolls IV. I will continue to update this page if i find something of use. If i can i will eventually bring out a guide for the whole game
1) Is your game too hard? Don't know how to change it? Click on start, go to options, click gameplay then reduce the difficulty, problem solved =).
2) Fast Travel- Press "b" then click "RT" until you get to the map, make sure you are outside,not in a building, then use the right analog stick to move the cursor and find where you want to go. Press "a" on the location then confirm it. You should go to that location.
3) There are some pretty easy achievements in Oblivion, for example, 50G to get out of the sewer and 10G for every guild you join and rank you get. Fast Travel to Anvil, located in the bottom left of Oblivion. Click on main gate. Then search the city for Fighters guild and Mage guild, the are huge buildings right next to each other, then talk to Azzan in the Fighters guild, 10G. Then go next door to the Mage guild and and talk to the woman behind the table, another 10G.
4) Easy skill levels- Now this is stupid but brilliant, there is some simple ways to lvl skills that you wouldnt think of. When you go to the arena continuously fight the Yellow Team and gain ranks (and achievements).
When you reach Grand Champion speak to the woman opposite the guy who gave you the old challengers. Then speak to the orc hitting the metal sheet. Go into the arena part where the circular fountain is. Use restoration over and over. When you run out of mana just click on the fountain. Easy Peasy. When you get to Grand Champion leave the arena, when you get outside some boy will speak to you, let him follow you. Then go to where theres no guards, press in the left analog stick. Then aim over him and click "a". pickpocket his 5 gold if you want -.-.
Then continuously press a,b,a,b,a,b,a,b. Sneak will level constantly, i got from 3-37 in about 5 minutes.
5) Acrobatics- To level this, its also very simple. Just go to the arena, or wait for fatigue to go back up. Jump by constantly clicking "y".
6) LockPicks- You have run out of lockpicks...you dont know what to do? well i found all the lockpicks you will ever need. commit a petty crime and pay the "23 gold" or fast travel to the jail in Imperial City.
Walk forwards and look left, there will be a tiny tent. There should be someone sleeping in there. Duck with the left joystick and pickpocket her. Collect her 30 lockpicks. Also if you get the chance to join the thieves guild, you can buy 100 lockpicks for 600 gold there
